The first time that I ever talked to Robbey was very random:
It all started one night when I was trying to call my boyfriend who I broke up with.
I thought that I wanted him back and I was really hung up on him.
But...long story short he basically told me to quit calling him! I hung up the phone feeling disappointed.
But an hour or so later when I was in bed sleeping my phone started to ring. I answer the phone...
Me: Hello?
Robbey: Hey I'm Robbey.
Me: Who?
Robbey: Robbey.. I'm best friends with your ex.
((Oh great! I thought.))
Me: look...I don't know what he wants but I don't want to talk to him. So you just tell that jerk th-...
Robbey: Well actually he gave me your number because I wanted me to prank you because your parents work nights. But I don't want to do that to you.
Robbey: Were you sleeping? Did I wake you up?
Me: Yeah you did...I have my last day of School tomorow. I'll be in 11th grade next fall.
Robbey: Oh..sorry I'll let you go back to sleep.
I was already getting interested in him.
Me: No Wait! I can talk. How old are you?
Robbey: 18. How old are you?
Me: I'm 16. Do you have a girlfriend?
Robbey: No. Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: I think you know that answer.
Robbey: Yeah...Well I can get you to go out with me in 2 weeks!
Me: Yeah right!
Robbey: Well can I call you tomorow after your done with School?
Me: Yeah. I'd like that.
Just to prove him wrong about his 2 week remark I waited a month before I hung out with him... we met at the local fair.
We walked around the fair for a while talking. I thought we were just hanging out as friends but later on we went on a ride together, it was like one of those octopus rides, we were sitting across from each other on the ride when he randomly says to me...
Robbey: You have the most beautiful green eyes. They look like pools of green algea.
Me: (giggles) Um... Thank you.
Robbey: I have a question.
Me: What?
Robbey: Will you go out with me?
Me: Yeah...I'll go out with you.
We held hands the whole night and sat under a tree to watch fireworks together while he had his arms around me... it was a magical feeling. At the end of the night we parted ways with a goodnight kiss on the cheek.
That was on July 5th, 2008. The most magical night.
He was my high school sweetheart!
In 2010, he surprised me with an apartment... I was so excited for the first week... but then I found out that the cute little things that they do while they are just visiting turn out to be not so cute when you are living with them. But over time do you learn to adapt to their little habits and sometimes you even pick up their little habits. For example, I thought it was very strange that he would refridgerate bread, sugar and flour.
We got married April 6th, 2011 and have been happily married since.
Now we own our house. While Robbey works full-time...I stay at home and take care of everything here.
